As the French leader in the sterilization of reusable medical equipment, Apperton is an essential link in the healthcare chain, where sterilization is an indispensable and critical step in any surgical procedure.
Created by the merger of Stérience and Vanguard France in 2019, the group now offers a complete range of multi-services: in situ or ex situ sterilization, low-temperature sterilization, partial sterilization subcontracting, pre-disinfection management... for healthcare facilities.
In 2021, Apperton completes its range of services with the acquisition of Altek Médical, the specialist in the repair and distribution of surgical equipment.
The following year, Apperton begins its international expansion with the acquisition of Albatec in Spain.
In 2023,
- The Group opens 2 new In Situ sterilization centers (in Brest and Melun), and now has 17 territorial locations, including 12 in France and 5 in Spain.
- A dozen healthcare establishments decide to entrust the sterilization of their medical devices to Apperton.
