Backed by investment fund Ekkio Capital, Calicéo, leader in aquatic balneotherapy centers, continues to expand with the opening of two new sites

Baths, spas, vitality - the winning triptych for fitness!

After Perpignan, Pau, Nantes, Bordeaux, Lyon and Toulouse, Calicéo is rolling out its fitness center concept in two new towns: Saint-Cyr L'Ecole (Seine et Marne), which opened its doors in September on over 5,000 m2, and Carré-Sénart (Seine et Marne), scheduled to open on December 28.

Founded in 1996 and with over a million visitors a year, Calicéo owes its success to the variety and quality of its services (indoor and outdoor hot tubs, saunas and hammams, hot waterfall, infrared sauna, salt-walled sanarium, cold grotto and snow shower, spa with Thalgo France treatments and massages...). Easy access is another of Calicéo's strengths. Located on the outskirts of towns and cities, the area around the centers is equipped with parking facilities, including spaces for electric vehicles.

With these two new Calicéo centers dedicated to water-based relaxation and fitness, Ekkio Capital reaffirms its expertise in local leisure and well-being.

Development continues in 2024 with the planned opening of a new center in Marcq-en Baroeul (Hauts-de-France), and in 2025 with the creation of a new site in Ligosheim (Grand Est) to offer Calicéo services throughout France.
